Rabbi Kaduri Reveals Name of the Messiah

From Yeshua Ha'Mashiach Ministries

יהוֹשוע
Shortly before he died, one of Israel's most prominent rabbis wrote the name of the Messiah on a small note which he requested would remain sealed until now. When the note was opened, it revealed what many have known for centuries: Yehoshua, or Yeshua (Jesus), is the Messiah.

With the biblical name of Jesus, the Rabbi and kabbalist described the Messiah using six words and hinting that the initial letters form the name of the Messiah. The secret note said:

Concerning the letter abbreviation of the Messiah’s name, He will lift the people and prove that his word and law are valid.

This I have signed in the month of mercy, Yitzhak Kaduri

The Hebrew sentence (translated above in bold) with the hidden name of the Messiah reads: Yarim Ha’Am Veyokhiakh Shedvaro Vetorato Omdim

The initials spell the Hebrew name of Jesus, Yehoshua. Yehoshua and Yeshua are e ectively the same name, derived from the same Hebrew root of the word “salvation” as documented in Zechariah 6:11 and Ezra 3:2. The same priest writes in Ezra, “Yeshua son of Yozadak” while writing in Zechariah “Yehoshua son of Yohozadak.” The priest adds the holy abbreviation of God’s name, ho, in the father’s name Yozadak and in the name Yeshua.

With one of Israel’s most prominent rabbis indicating the name of the Messiah is Yeshua, it is understandable why his last wish was to wait one year after his death before revealing what he wrote.

When the name of Yehoshua appeared in Kaduri’s message, ultra-Orthodox Jews from his Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva (seminary) in Jerusalem argued that their master did not leave the exact solution for decoding the Messiah’s name.

The revelation received scant coverage in the Israeli media. Only the Hebrew websites News First Class (Nfc) and Kaduri. net mentioned the Messiah note, insisting it was authentic. The Hebrew daily Ma'arivran a story on the note but described it as a forgery.

Jewish readers responded on the websites' forums with mixed feelings: “So this means Rabbi Kaduri was a Christian? ” and “The Christians are dancing and celebrating,” were among the comments.

Israel Today spoke to two of Kaduri’s followers in Jerusalem who admitted that the note was authentic, but confusing for his followers as well. “We have no idea how the Rabbi got to this name of the Messiah,” one of them said.

Yet others completely deny any possibility that the note is authentic. Kaduri’s son, Rabbi David Kaduri, said that at the time the note was written (September 2005), his father’s physical condition made it impossible for him to write.

Kaduri's Portrayal Of The Messiah

A few months before Kaduri died at the age of 108, he surprised his followers when he told them that he met the Messiah. Kaduri gave a message in his synagogue on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, teaching how to recognize the Messiah. He also mentioned that the Messiah would appear to Israel after Ariel Sharon’s death. (The former prime minister is still in a coma after suffering a massive stroke more than a year ago.)

Other rabbis predict the same, including Rabbi Haim Cohen, kabbalist Nir Ben Artzi and the wife of Rabbi Haim Kneiveskzy.

Kaduri’s grandson, Rabbi Yosef Kaduri, said his grandfather spoke many times during his last days about the coming of the Messiah and redemption through the Messiah.

His spiritual portrayals of the Messiah—reminiscent of New Testament accounts—were published on the websites Kaduri. net and Nfc:

“It is hard for many good people in society to understand the person of the Messiah. The leadership and order of a Messiah of flesh and blood is hard to accept for many in the nation. As leader, the Messiah will not hold any office, but will be among the people and use the media to communicate. His reign will be pure and without personal or political desire. During his dominion, only righteousness and truth will reign.

“Will all believe in the Messiah right away? No, in the beginning some of us will believe in him and some not. It will be easier for non-religious people to follow the Messiah than for Orthodox people.

“The revelation of the Messiah will be ful lled in two stages: First, he will actively confirm his position as Messiah without knowing himself that he is the Messiah. Then he will reveal himself to some Jews, not necessarily to wise Torah scholars. It can be even simple people. Only then he will reveal himself to the whole nation. The people will wonder and say: ‘What, that’s the Messiah? ’ Many have known his name but have not believed that he is the Messiah.”

Farewell to a 'Tsadik'

Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri was known for his photographic memory and his memorization of the Bible, the Talmud, Rashi and other Jewish writings. He knew Jewish sages and celebrities of the last century and rabbis who lived in the Holy Land and kept the faith alive before the State of Israel was born.

Kaduri was not only highly esteemed because of his age of 108. He was charismatic and wise, and chief rabbis looked up to him as a Tsadik, a righteous man or saint. He would give advice and blessings to everyone who asked. Thousands visited him to ask for counsel or healing. His followers speak of many miracles and his students say that he predicted many disasters.

When he died, more than 200,000 people joined the funeral procession on the streets of Jerusalem to pay their respects as he was taken to his final resting place.

“When he comes, the Messiah will rescue Jerusalem from foreign religions that want to rule the city,” Kaduri once said. “They will not succeed for they will fight against one another.”

The Rabbi's Followers React

In an interview with Israel Today, Rabbi David Kaduri, the 80-year-old son of the late Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri, denied that his father left a note with the name Yeshua just before he died.

“It’s not his writing,” he said when we showed him a copy of the note.

During a nighttime meeting in the Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva in Jerusalem, books with the elder Kaduri’s handwriting from 80 years ago were presented to us in an attempt to prove that the Messiah note was not authentic.

When we told Rabbi Kaduri that his father’s official website (www.kaduri.net) had mentioned the Messiah note, he was shocked. “Oh no! That’s blasphemy. The people could understand that my father pointed to him [the Messiah of the Christians].”

David Kaduri confirmed, however, that in his last year, his father had talked and dreamed almost exclusively about the Messiah and his coming. “My father has met the Messiah in a vision,” he said, “and told us that he would come soon.”

Israel Today was given access to many of the rabbi's manuscripts, written in his own hand for the exclusive use of his students. Most striking were the cross-like symbols painted by Kaduri all over the pages. In the Jewish tradition, one does not use crosses. In fact, even the use of a plus sign is discouraged because it might be mistaken for a cross.

But there they were, scribbled in the rabbi's own hand. When we asked what those symbols meant, Rabbi David Kaduri said they were “signs of the angel." Pressed further about the meaning of the “signs of the angel," he said he had no idea. Rabbi David Kaduri went on to explain that only his father had had a spiritual relationship with God and had met the Messiah in his dreams.

Orthodox Jews around the Nahalat Yitzhak Yeshiva told Israel Today a few weeks later that the story about the secret note of Rabbi Kaduri should never have come out, and that it had damaged the name the revered old sage.

A Rabbi's Testimony

By Ephraim Frank

A little over a year ago the most famous Kabalistic rabbi in Israel passed away. Over 300,000 attended his funeral in Jerusalem. However, little did they know that he went to his grave carrying with him a most amazing testimony. You can draw your own conclusion upon reading what we are about to share with you. This information, which comes from a secular website in Israel, is verified on the rabbi's website by his followers. None of us have any doubt that we are living in very unique times, and one does not need to elaborate as to the great variety of events and phenomena that are taking place right before our eyes. Especially interesting is the waking up process, out of the grave of forgetfulness, of the multitudes of Israelites who have been unaware of their identity until just recently. And while the lost tribes of the house of Israel/Ephraim are shedding the scales of sleep from there eyes one might ask, but what about brother Judah?

The latter does not question his identity, and even the identity of the other members of the family, but what about the identity of the Redeemer, without whom this restoration will not be fulfilled? Indeed, the phenomenon of Jews/Judeans, that is Israelites of the House of Judah, recognizing their Messiah should not by any means be taken for granted, as until several decades ago it could not even be imagined! Judah and Yeshua has been an oxymoron for a very long time. Right now, as we all know, there are tens of thousands of Jews in various parts of the world, including Israel, who recognize their Jewish Messiah without having had to step into foreign territory in order to do that (that is, they did not convert to another religion). Yet, by and large, Yeshua's name still causes many a Jew to squirm, and if that Jew happens to be religious then the typical reaction to the mentioning of His name would be far more radical than a squirm.

But having said that it must be emphasized that research into some old Jewish writings will yield surprising discoveries as to the description of Messiah. However, even with all that material at their disposal, the Orthodox Jews, who may be familiar with these descriptions, for many reasons refuse to associate Messiah with the figure of the historical Yeshua. In spite of that every now and then a rumor finds its way into the believing circles in the land that such and such a rabbi, or another religious figure, has come to embrace Yeshua. But most times it is hard, if not impossible, to verify these hearsays.

Around the time of the first year anniversary of the passing away of the above mentioned Kabbalistic rabbi, who died at 106 and I might add with his mind still a sharp as a tack, the word went out that an envelope with Messiah's name in it, which he gave his disciples before his death, had, according to his instructions, been opened.

Being a Kabbalist (Kabbala is Jewish mysticism), the rabbi wrote the name of the Messiah in accordance with the customs of this sect. Thus the note that was opened up contained a sentence which says the following: As to the acronym of Messiah: Let the people raise up and prove that his word and his Torah are valid. Thus, the first letter of each of the words in the above sentence was strung together to form the name of the Messiah. In Hebrew that sentence was made up of six words whose first letters formed the name Yehoshua; that is Joshua, which is actually the same name as Yeshua. (JESUS)

The Internet site where the actual note, in the handwriting of the rabbi, appeared also posted an article which revealed, to the discomfort and amazement of the rabbis' associates, far more. On that same website, as well as on the rabbi's site, it was reported that the rabbi met the Messiah about a year before his death, and his description of the Messiah was written down and then reduced into a list of 18 points.

Let us take a look at what this venerated veteran rabbi has to say about the Messiah of Israel. The following has been translated from the Hebrew with our comments inserted in the brackets:

1. The rabbi met the Messiah about a year ago, after he foresaw the wave of natural disasters that hit the earth. The rabbi met the Messiah in a vision, and he therefore was able to also predict the coming disaster [it does not mention which disaster], because the Spirit of Messiah is the Spirit of prophecy [see Revelation 19:10, the rabbis is actually making reference to New Covenant scriptures here and in a few other places]

2. The soul of Messiah is conceived inside a person of the Israelite nation. Indeed a person is conceived by the Messiah and contains the spirit of Messiah when he meets Messiah. [The rabbi's definition of the new birth]

3. The Messiah draws to the Torah those who are removed from it. The true believers in Messiah do likewise and also draw others to the testimony of Messiah [ref. Revelation 19:10]. As he said, anyone who will teach and do this will be called great in the kingdom of heaven [ref. Mathew 5:19]

4. The union of the 2 Messiahs (Messiah son of Joseph and Messiah son of David) has taken place. Indeed the 2 Messiahs are one, they are one soul. [In Jewish tradition the suffering Messiah son of Joseph precedes the coming of the victorious Messiah son of David]

5. The rabbi was told that he would be privileged to see Messiah in his own lifetime, which has indeed taken place, and he was saved [the term saved is not common at all in typical Jewish vernacular]

6. Messiah will lead Israel in pleasant and loving ways to practice Judaism. Messiah will be a Torah observant Jew, as it is written, the spirit of the Lord will rest on Him. The spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord… And He will not judge by what His eyes see, nor make a decision by what His ears hear (Isaiah 11:2-3).

7. By His words He will gather the outcasts of Israel from all over the world. And He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the banished ones of Israel, and will gathered the dispersed of Judah (Isaiah 11:12).

8. Many will find His words and speech to be easy to accept, And He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked (Isaiah 11:4).

9. His words will be fulfilled by the very fact that they had been uttered by Him. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host (Psalm. 33:6) [This quote alludes to the divinity of Messiah, normally a non accepted tenet in Judaism].

10. As a leader Messiah will not sit in some kind of fancy office or bureau, but will sit in the bureau of Hashem [Elohim].

11. He will convey His words through different vessels And saviors will go up Mount Zion to judge the Mount of Esau and the kingdom will be the Lord's (Obadiah 1:21).

12. Purity is destined to come to the world through the same vessels that sin entered in. Thus, since sin came into the world through a vessel, a woman-Eve, so will purity come in by a vessel – a woman [this is a clear hint that Messiah was to come to the world by being born, and not in some other way]

13. His rule will be free of all lust. Also righteousness will be the belt about His loins, and faithfulness the belt about His waist (Isaiah 11:5)

14. His true test will not be His ability to perform miracles, but the very essence of His being and His actions. He will act as a simple Jew. His entire will is to do the will of God, and God gives Him help. He is very humble, He has no stately form or majesty that we should look upon Him, nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him (Isaiah 53:2) [In Judaism this forbidden chapter is usually avoided, and when quoted it is always in relationship to Israel and not to Messiah]

15. Messiah does not distinguish between a secular Israelite and a religious one. He stretches forth His hand to all, and who so ever wills accepts Him, even the Gentiles. The nations will resort to…Him… and His resting place will be glorious (Isaiah 11:10)

16. Accepting Him is easier for those who do not keep the Torah and the commandments. Those who regard themselves as righteous are proud and that is an abomination to the Lord. The people who walk in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death the light will shine on them (Isaiah 9:1)

17. Messiah will reveal Himself to individuals, and not necessarily to those who excel in Torah. For the strong do not need a doctor, the righteous do not need to repent, but the sick and the sinner [ref. Mark 2:17, Luke 5:31], as it is written, mercy have I desired, and not sacrifice [Hosea 6:6; Mathew 9:13]

18. When He is revealed many will wonder: What, is it He?! Who has believed our report, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? As for His generation, who considered? [Isaiah 53:1, 8] And I will pour upon the House of David and the dweller of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication, so that they will look upon Me whom they have pierced and they will mourn for Him as the mourning for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn (Zachariah 12:10) [A verse which is normally attached to the nation of Israel and not to Messiah]

Have a restful and peaceful Shabbat,

Ephraim and Rimona

Jerusalem has returned to Jewish control in 1967.

Luke 21:29-32 "He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Fig tree is Israel, Hosea 9:10, "When I found Israel, it was like finding grapes in the desert; when I saw your fathers, it was like seeing the early fruit on the fig tree..." It has reformed in 1948.

And we are the last generation to welcome Him back. Psalm 90:10, "Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures; ..."

70 or 80 years max after 1967, after Ariel Sharon's death to be precise. He's been in a vegetable state since 2006.

  2. http://literallyenlightened.tumblr.com/ For the signs of the revelation of the ways of ascent. Through me, I came literally with the name of War because of the prophecy about the evil coming in the name of peace. So my real last name is part War. part Ala.
